TYPEFACE alpha from Mary Huang on Vimeo.
With all of the wonderful font blogs popping up on the site this past week, I figured we had room for one (or two) last looks at type and fashion before we turn the page... So here's today's offering, an interactive type project from Mary Huang, a designer from San Diego who works in software, fashion, product and graphic design. And hailing from that same neck of the woods, conceptual artist John Baldessari has just mounted an installation combining art and fashion, the giacometti variations, at the Prada Foundation in Milan, Italy. Riffing on the work of the Swiss sculptor Alberto Giacometti, Baldessari's installation features 4.5 meter tall steel figures (ala Giacometti) clothed in articles 'grounded in archetypes found in the interrelationship between film and fashion'. Enjoy!

Hey Barb, just a heads up you haven't posted an art junk in weeks, you may have them saved as drafts (otherwise I would have already answered it)
